AntiGraffiti Systems Ltd., Brighton, East Sussex: This young dynamic company provides anti-graffiti and maintenance services, and supplies specialist cleaning and safety personnel to the rail and associated industries.
The company felt its ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System (QMS) was not fully meeting the company’s needs and asked D.G.Edworthy Associates to assist the senior management to identify and implement improvements. Within six months the company was able to undergo an assessment visit from BSI and achieve ISO 9001: 2008 certification and a report of significant improvement from their auditor.
As well as conducting internal audits and undertaking a review of the existing QMS, D.G.Edworthy Associates is helping the company integrate its business plan into an integrated management system encompassing Quality and Environmental management (under DGEA consultancy) and Investors-In-People and Health and Safety (under the consultancy of other specialists).
Dimension Data United Kingdom Ltd., Fleet, Hampshire: This multinational company serves blue-chip clients with communications and IT systems and maintenance.
As part of an internal improvement project, the Change Manager chose D.G.Edworthy Associates to perform a significant part of the company’s internal audit cycle and to provide one-to-one mentoring and consultancy to staff prior to an impending surveillance visit from their certification body, BSI.
The company was able to meet its auditing and improvement targets, and at the subsequent surveillance visit the company was able to demonstrate the improvements it had made.

After attending a D.G.Edworthy Associates public training course for Value-Added Internal Auditing, the Operations Manager felt the existing ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System (QMS) was not fully meeting the company’s needs and asked D.G.Edworthy Associates to identify and help implement improvements.
As the result of our review of the existing QMS, D.G.Edworthy Associates helped the company to integrate its business plan into a process-focussed quality management system and provided further training for staff and for internal auditors. In August 2009 the company underwent a surveillance visit from its certification body, SGS, with zero nonconformities and successful transfer to ISO 9001: 2008. In his feedback, the Operations Manager said “I am deeply relieved that it went so well and I am very grateful for your patient and expert guidance.”
Invisitech Limited, Worthing, Sussex: D.G.Edworthy Associates were asked to assist this high-technology electronics company with the 2005 Internal Audit cycle of their ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System. This freed-up the staff who were busy meeting customer needs and allowed the Directors to hold their Management Review meeting before an impending surveillance visit from the certification body. In their feedback the company said, “…we were delighted with the service and will use the company for future audits. We learned a lot from your visit and found the advice very helpful.” and, following the 2007 audit, “We felt the meeting went well and you gave some positive suggestions for changes to the system, which we will be considering. MacGregor & Associates, Hadlow, Kent: This small family company is a very successful supplier of engineering knowledge and resources to the offshore oil industry. To permit the staff to concentrate on the business, D.G.Edworthy Associates were asked to conduct the 2005 Internal Audit cycle of their ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System. We then provided further one-to-one consultancy to help the company take full advantage of opportunities for improvement that were identified during the audit.
Sussex Enterprise, Burgess Hill: D.G.Edworthy Associates were asked by Sussex Enterprise to assist them with the 2004 Internal Audit cycle of their ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System. Ten areas of the company’s operations were audited during the month of December, and the results communicated to company management. In their feedback the company said, “All work was carried out to a high standard in a timely and efficient way. I am more than happy to use D.G.Edworthy Associates again or to recommend to others.”
